Marketing agency · Honolulu
An agency's own site is the hardest brief.
Hapa Honey build brands for a living. That makes their own website the work sample every prospect judges them on before they read a single case study.

What is live on the site
- Editorial, image-led design that doubles as a work sample
- Portfolio structured so new client work drops straight in
- Services stated plainly, work shown early
The problem with agency websites
Most look like the templates they warn clients against. For an agency whose whole pitch is that Hawai'i's entrepreneurs deserve better than mainland templates, shipping a mainland template would have quietly undone the argument. The site had to be evidence, not a claim.
What we built
A dark, image-led editorial site that leads with photography and sets type big enough to carry attitude. The services are stated plainly and the work is shown early, because an agency site that makes you scroll past three paragraphs of philosophy to find the portfolio has already lost the reader who was ready to hire.
Built to hold real work
The portfolio is structured so new client work drops in without a redesign, which matters for an agency whose case studies are the whole pitch. Adding a project should take minutes, not a rebuild.
